Description

The Revised edition of the book "MATHEMATICS FOR CLASS VI" has been written strictly according to the latest syllabus prescribed by the NCERT In this edition, at the end of each chapter an exercise containing large number of objective type questions have been added followed by chapter tests based on CCE pattern. In order to test the knowledge and understanding of concepts learnt in a chapter, students are advised to attempt the chapter test. The book has been divided into 23 Chapters. The text has been written in a lucid manner. The difficulty level of the problems has been reduced and mathematical concepts have been explained in the simplest possible way. Each chapter contains a large number of illustrative examples to understand the applications of concepts. In each section, illustrative examples are followed by an exercise containing an adequate number of unsolved problems. The level of the problems in exercises has been kept to encourage the students to practice, so that the students becomes more confident in solving them.
